Walk by Water

This is a new River Ocean resource into which we hope our supporters will contribute their favorite walks from around our UK coastlines & rivers. Not only can the walk routes be published but we request from you adding relevant interesting points of information associated with the route – be they historical or contemporary.

What we’re looking for: 6 – 10 Kilometer (4 – 6 mile) walks, preferably circular, that incorporate parts of a coastal or river path, if not the English coastal path . Some walks should have easier access on the route than others. Safety of hikers and age suitability are important pieces of information. A circular design would be a bonus, as would connections to public transport. Comments and/or additional information (good value for money eateries and accommodation are also sought) on the walks can be made through our contact page.
